Grant Stinchfield is live from Durant, Oklahoma, 6–10 PM ET, as President Trump takes the stage at the Choctaw Casino Resort Event Center. It is his first Oklahoma stop since 2020 and the opener of a red-state midterm swing, with Alabama and Nebraska next. Doors opened at 2 p.m. local time. Crowds waited in the rain. Remarks are set for 6 p.m.

 

Republicans hold a 53–47 Senate majority, but polls show Democrats competitive in states Trump won by double digits, including Texas, Ohio, Iowa, Kansas, and Alaska. Forecasters lean toward a Democratic House. Durant sits on the Texas border and reaches the Dallas–Fort Worth market, so the rally is built to boost turnout for endorsed Oklahoma gubernatorial nominee Mike Mazzei and nearby Texas candidates at the same time.

 

Beau Davidson, Brittney Hopper, Allison Haunss, and John Solomon join Stinchfield on the ground. Solomon, of Just the News and the White House Government Transparency Task Force, is on to break down what the rally, the money, and the investigations mean with Election Day just over a month away.

 

Trump is rallying a stronghold, not a toss-up. Bryan County gave him more than 78% in 2024. The bet is that base energy, not persuasion, decides November 3.
