There are clear indications that AI is making us stupid. We no longer internalize data and detail; we delegate it. We quote things from media outlets and so-called "truthers" as if it is gospel when much of their questionable expertise comes from the internet and ChatGPT.
Humans are meant to have purpose and are one of the only animals on Earth with forward thinking. The question is, how can we change the future if we stop thinking?
The real danger isn’t that AI will become smarter than us. It’s that we’ll become dumber because of it.
