On this episode of the Nine Finger Chronicles Podcast, Dan talks with returning guest Mike Perry about his recent Ohio success on a 8 1/2 old buck. The guys discuss the area that this buck called how all the way down to the specific tree stand he shot him out of.
Mike explain how in 2012 EHD hit this specific piece of property really hard killing 75% of the herd. While checking trail cameras this was on of the only buck in the area who survived the outbreak. He didn't pay attention to the farm for the next couple years while the herd recovered but every time he checked cameras this buck showed up.
The buck made a huge jump in alter size from 2017 to 2018 and became #1 on Mike's hit-list. From that point, the rest is history. Enjoy!
