A Love Letter to Vulnerability

Season 2 Episode 41 Published 3 years, 4 months ago
Description

Fan Mail: Tell Wendy how you're saying yes to yourself!

This week on the Love Letters, Life & Other Conversations podcast Jane shares an Instagram post from Molly Burford, called"What is Vulnerability" as the springboard for the conversation.

Jane and Wendy talk about how the idea and definition of vulnerability may be different for each person, and that once you decide to be vulnerable, there is no going back.  They also talk about how when you speak from a scar versus a wound you have had the time to learn and grow from the experience of being vulnerable.

Here are our takeaways for this week:

 Wendy

  • The duality of offering a hand and being willing to receive when being vulnerable
  • Being true to yourself when its not reciprocated

Jane

  • Vulnerability is saying 'I love you' first. It is the foundation of love.

Kristina (KB)

  • Vulnerability wins because you open yourself up to love.
