In the latest episode of Tennis Weekly, Joel and Kim catch up on the Cincinnati Masters which saw Caroline Garcia continue her resurgence (RENAISSANCE) in form to capture her third 1000 level title with a dominant win over Petra Kvitova.
The week also saw Borna Coric become the lowest ranked winner of a Masters 1000 title with a straight sets victory over Stefanos Tsitsipas in the final. Joel and Kim also discuss Emma Raducanu’s defeat of Serena Williams and Iga Swiatek’s recent dip in form as well as looking ahead to the week prior to the US Open in tournaments.
They also reflect on the Laver Cup ticketing practice sessions for charity, and Kim tests Joel with a new Mysterious Player.
