Season 2 Episode 55 Published 3 years, 9 months ago
Description

This time I’ll be talking to Greg Whitton.

Greg is an award-winning landscape, adventure and travel photographer, specialising in outdoor and mountain imagery from across the United Kingdom and beyond.

In 2015 he was awarded the 'Light on the Land' category win and the Overall win to become 'Outdoor Photographer of the Year 2014'. In 2016 he  won the 'Live the Adventure' category of the same competition.

In August 2015 Greg released his first quality photo book through Triplekite Publishing, entitled 'Mountainscape'.

Greg’s has lengthy experience  in organising workshops and photowalks in the UK throughout the year. His  general style is relaxed with an emphasis on ensuring clients enjoy their day as far as possible, experiencing the outdoors as much as improving their photographic technique in challenging environments. As a long-time and very experienced hillwalker Greg  has over many years organised and led groups of upwards of 40 people on day long walks, multi-day and week long holidays.

We talk about his early history with photography, how a recent accident has changed his life and philosophy, the future and  challenges facing photography and a whole lot more.

I hope you enjoy the show!
