Dr. Amy Mechley was the first physician in her region to become board-certified in Lifestyle Medicine. She found Lifestyle Medicine enabled her to take her over two decades of doctoring to the next level as it enabled her to build a clinic, with her DPC partner Dr. Glass, around patient relationship-based care, prevention and wellness. She also found that to build a clinic from the ground up relied heavily on her business-focused training and her understanding and consulting work on the business of medicine. She continues to remain active inspiring future family physicians as they learn about both DPC and how it is a perfect pairing for Lifestyle Medicine.
