Lindsey Campbell is joined by Mark Davies for another edition of THANKS TELEFILM where they examine movies that great examples of why Telefilm funding is important and why some are... questionable. This episode is a double feature: "Disappearance At Clifton Hill" and "The Wolf and the Lion".

Director Albert Shin's film "Disappearance at Clifton Hill" focuses on a troubled young woman returning to her hometown of Niagara Falls, where the memory of a long-ago kidnapping quickly ensnares her. It also starts David Cronenberg in a small role. Gilles de Maistre's film "The Wolf and the Lion" tells the story of 20-year-old Alma who decides to go back to her childhood home, a little island in the heart of a majestic forest. While there, she rescues two helpless cubs: a wolf and a lion. They forge an inseparable bond.
