Ben Gibbard is the frontman for indie rock band Death Cab for Cutie. He is also an avid trail runner with dozens of ultramarathon finishes over the past decade. On September 16th, Death Cab will release their tenth studio Album, Asphalt Meadows, before going on tour starting September 22nd. We talk about his career as a musician, the upcoming album, and how trail running has helped him to stay grounded as a human being and musician.
