Episode Details

What changes when we truly recognize that God is God—and we are not?

In this episode of the Wisdom Calling Podcast, we return to Genesis 1 and the creation of the cosmos and humanity. The opening chapter of Scripture confronts us with a foundational reality: God alone is the Creator, and everything else—including us—is His creation.

That distinction matters in our everyday lives and work. In a culture where people often construct their own ideas about God from competing religions and worldviews, Genesis calls us back to the Creator who alone is worthy of our worship.

And because we are made by a God who creates and brings order, our own ability to create, organize, build, and work points us back to Him. For busy Christian professionals, Genesis 1 offers a needed reorientation: before we think about our work, our plans, or what we can create, we need to remember the One who created us.
