Episode Details

What exactly does it mean to be created in the image of God—and why does it matter?

In this episode of the Wisdom Calling Podcast, we continue through Genesis and consider God’s creation of humanity. Unlike the plants and animals, human beings are uniquely created in God’s image—a distinction that gives profound significance to who we are and how we understand one another.

This foundational biblical truth has far-reaching implications for human dignity, ethics, and even many of the laws and moral principles that shape our society. It also affects how we approach our everyday lives and work.

If every person we encounter is an image-bearer of God, that reality should influence how we think, lead, work, make decisions, and treat the people around us.
