Render Unto Caesar: Jesus in Conflict with the Jews (Matthew 22:1-22) - Session 45

Season 1 Episode 87 Published 4 years, 2 months ago
Description

Jesus is in Jerusalem and has conflict with the Jewish leaders. He tells a parable of a king who invited people to a wedding feast, but they were unwilling to come. One guest is then thrown out because he does not have proper wedding clothes. These parables are about the people who are unwilling to come to God, just like today. We learn how people react to Jesus the same ways today as they did back then.

  • Who is invited to God’s wonderful wedding feast?
  • Will God ever show anger?
  • What happens when people try to trap Jesus in His speech?
  • Are we giving to the government and to God as we should?
