With both brands building to numerous special shows, NXT and AEW put a better foot forward this week. The vacant women's tag team championship found a long-overdue home, while Carmelo Hayes again impressed with Solo Sikoa appearing to step up as No. 1 contender. Meanwhile, the main event storylines for the men and women continue to leave a lot to be desired, especially around Bron Breakker and JD McDonagh. AEW continued its trek to All Out [28:20] while promoting Quake at the Lake as Chris Jericho emerged, Undisputed Elite split after Adam Cole's return and Jamie Hayter got a big win alongside Britt Baker against Thunder Rosa and Tony Storm.
