A longtime Buckeye commitment is headed to Bama instead.
After checking out Alabama in recent days, four-star tight end Ty Lockwood went public with his change of heart, announcing via social media that Tuscaloosa was his new college destination. In doing so, the standout from Independence High School in Thompson's Station, Tn., became UA's first (and perhaps only) tight end commitment for the 2023 cycle.
