To use this podcast as CPD, look at these reflection points:

1) Consider what food means to your patients and how that can change with a diagnosis of cancer, particularly with symptom burden?

2) What simple guidance can you give to support the individual (such as including protein through the day to support strength, weight maintenance and the ability to do daily activities) to help them through treatment and beyond?

3) What nutritional resources are available to offer your patients and how do you engage the patient to read and take on board this advice and guidance?

4) Explore how you and your team sign post patients to internal resources and/or external sources eg charities such a world cancer research fund, Macmillan, cancer research etc.
