Episode 469 Published 3 years, 5 months ago
Description

Problem: You want to study space but that rocket ship in your barn has about as much lift to it as The Dude delivering a jumping high five.

Solution? Space rideshare via NASA’s CubeSat Launch Initiative. On today’s show Dooner and The Dude are talking about NASA’s CSLI which provides low-cost access to space for U.S. educational institutions, informal educational institutions such as museums, science centers, nonprofits with an education/outreach component, and NASA centers for early career workforce development. We’ll find out the logistics behind it all from Liam J. Cheney and Norman Phelps, mission managers, NASA Launch Services Program.

A look at cross-border with Carlos Barahona of Universal Logistics Services, and Netradyne’s Nick Grome shares the latest in dashcam tech.

Plus, owner-operators say they’ll make far less this year; Hershey’s Halloween candy shortage; the worst dock in America and more.
