Debra integrates Physical Medicine applications including modalities, bodywork, movement, and touch into her Somatic Experiencing practice, specializing in early life trauma resolution, head injuries, medical trauma and chronic trauma patterns. She has over 25 years of Somatic Experience practice and has integrated it with many other treatments. Debra is currently on Faculty at Somatic Experiencing International and has assisted Peter Levine in post advanced trainings and has done consultations with many different types of providers from Medical doctors, to Psycho-analysists, MFT’s, counselors to PT’s and teachers, to name a few, helping them integrate Somatic Experiencing into their specialties.
Debra has completed certification training in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (Masters Degree), Somatic Experiencing, Hellerwork, Acupuncture Detoxification and Addiction (NADA), and is a Registered Somatic Movement Educator/Therapist (RSME/T) and has been recognized as a Qualified Medical Evaluator by the State of California.
She also is board specialized as a Diplomate in Acupuncture Orthopedics, is a NCCAOM Diplomate (National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine) and has provided CEU training courses for health care professionals including acupuncturists and massage therapists.
