2) Focus on what you can offer a returnee and be flexible to support their return. What pastoral support will you put in place so they feel welcome and wanted back in the workplace?

3) Consider diverse placement opportunities for returnees- not all returnees want to return to clinical practice, some may welcome the opportunity to return in education, research and leadership posts.
