PREVIEW - Did Somebody Say Melancholy?
Published 4 years, 3 months ago
Description
The fellas are back, working through Zizek's writing on the Freudian concept of melancholy in his 2001 work, 'Did Somebody Say Totalitarianism?'. The conversation orients around the melancholic as an expression of postmodern ideology, the function of objet petit a as a lost object, and where melancholy as a political orientation finds its limits. This patron ep is a bit short, but cut us some slack, Peter is baking in the sun on some farm. Enjoy!
