Game 83: Blown Out & Shutout

Episode 260 Published 3 years, 8 months ago
Description

The Nats were crushed 11-0 in Philadelphia as Paolo Espino couldn't last four innings. Mark (Live from Philly) & Al have no choice but to begin with how badly the team played on Tuesday as they have now dropped six games in a row.

(07:05) The offense came up empty and in the past few days are displaying a troubling trend as they have not scored a run in the opening six innings for three straight days. The discussion then leads to the top offensive propsects in the farm system.

(13:30) Paolo has had back to back poor outings and that makes us wonder if lineups have figured him out a bit or is it a blip on the radar? Speaking of the rotation, who starts on Thursday?

(22:40) Mark gives an update on injured relievers Sean Doolittle and Will Harris.
