After a successful career as a civil litigation lawyer, and then working for the Victorian government for 10 years as a senior policy adviser on red tape reduction in small businesses like restaurants Julia Picone (Pentolina Fresh Pasta and bar) felt like a career change. Completely in love with Italian food, culture and way of life she acted on the urge to jump into the hospitality sector with an Italian restaurant, where she is now juggling the red tape from the other side of the fence.
