Today, insurance companies are discriminating against people of color who currently have car insurance or are in search of it. Recent studies overwhelming demonstrate how insurance companies impose discriminatory methods and requirements which lead to people of color having to pay higher insurance premiums or in some cases going without because of the steep cost. In this episode, we review those studies and discuss the impact its having on communities of color.
