Description
Angelo Baca is a Navajo and Hopi filmmaker, and a PhD candidate in sociocultural anthropology at NYU. A graduate of the Native Voices Program at the University of Washington, he has created numerous documentaries and collaborative works around such subjects as Indigenous food sovereignty, and Indigenous international repatriation.
For The Wild is a slow media studio dedicated to land-based protection, co-liberation, and intersectional storytelling. We are rooted in a paradigm shift away from human supremacy, endless growth, and consumerism. Founded in 2014, our work highlights impactful stories and deeply-felt meaning making as balms for these times.
