This week we talk about A LOT! First, we send our deepest prayers to the people of Afghanistan who have experienced a terrible earthquake. We also talk about some of the things happening at General Assembly while also talking about a new golf league funded by Saudi Arabia. All that and more on A Matter of Faith!

Question of the Week:
Recently hit star Lizzo made headlines for changing an offensive lyric in her new single “Grrls” after backlash and criticism. I don’t know how many examples I’ve seen of artists listening to feedback in this way. How could we learn from this in churches and in the wider world, especially those of us who care about social justice?

Special Guest:
Ray Jones, Director of Theology, Formation & Evangelism, PCUSA

Guest Question:
What is the difference between knowledge and belief? Where is faith in this conversation?
