In today’s episode, Amy chats with Bea Teuten. Bea is a UK qualified yoga teacher and yoga therapist (1000-hour BWY Diploma), a TeenYoga teacher, and a Vedic Chant Teacher. She is trained in the tradition of Professor Sri Krishnamacharya and his son TKV Desikachar and has studied with Colin Dunsmuir, Gill Lloyd, Radha Sundararajan, and at The Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram in Chennai India.

 

She is a current Chair at TYSP (The Society of Yoga Practitioners) and offers Individual classes as well as group classes in Twickenham and Richmond West London. She works with many conditions including for those affected by cancer, MS, sleep problems, anxiety, and stress.

Amy & Bea discuss how she understood that she would be switching her career to become a yoga teacher, and her first experience with the healing powers of yoga with respect to epilepsy, They also talk about the responsibilities of the students and teachers, and the benefits of chanting and more.
