The Minnesota Twins lose 2 of 3 against the visiting Cleveland Guardians and now sit tied atop the AL Central with the Guardians. Andrew "Hoges" Hoganson fills in as Dan makes his way to Minnesota. The boys discuss the Twins inability to put away games when they are up in the late innings, and the roller coaster of emotions the Twins took their fans on throughout the series. The guys both express their frustration at Dick Bremer's non-home run home run calls, and David puts pitchers in his beast and bench spots in honor of Dan Thompson. Hoges wants to know if the Twins should act early before the trade deadline to bring in some relief help, and David is furious that Rocco didn't ask Buxton to bunt in extra innings in game one. David asks Hoges how much he believes in this team, and Hoges pulls no punches calling out David and Dan's downplaying of the Twins success thus far. The guys grade the series and make their picks for the upcoming Rockies series. Thanks for listening, and as always, go Twins!
