Dr. Victor Devinatz is a Distinguished Professor in the College of Business since 1991at Illinois State.  . He is nationally recognized for his expertise in qualitative research in a wide variety of labor relations and employment relations topics where he utilizes ethnographic, oral history and archival research methodologies.  We discuss the history of the TUEL, TUUL, and the early CIO in labor history from the early 1920s into the 1940s.  Towards the end, we discuss the implications for today's labor movement.  You can find another interview with Dr. Devinatz at  Cosmopod
