This week's guest is celebrity whisperer Taylor Ferber. After years interviewing A-listers in Hollywood for several news outlets, Taylor got tired of repeating the same questions and not really talking about anything meaningful, so, as we all should, she took matters into her own hands and went “rogue”.  

Armed with her selfie stick, she started doing some real reporting, where she’s free to say “what we’re thinking but no one wants to quite say”. She’s been told many times by powerful entities she couldn’t run news on her site, but she’s kept going anyway. 

The pandemic for her was a blessing in disguise because it gave her the possibility to jump start on what she really wanted to do. She took the leap of faith she needed to quit Hollywood and start her podcast, which in turn has aligned her with her purpose and gotten her one step closer to reaching her ultimate goals.  

She does miss some things from Hollywood life, like getting ready for events and being wined and dined, but doesn’t miss the cancel culture that has developed since she first started working there and the tailored media narrative that is very difficult to navigate. As Taylor says “ we’re filtered in a very weird way”.

She spent years working red carpets, interviewing countless A-listers (like Oprah and Kim Kardashian) and covering Hollywood’s biggest events. She's contributed to sites like USA Today, Vulture, and Us Weekly, and is known for her revealing celeb selfie stick interviews on her site Talk To Me Taylor. Now, she gives a completely unique take on pop culture on her cutting edge podcast “Cancel Me, Baby!”
