While Bulldog baseball fans have to settle for watching 16 other teams play this super regional weekend, Mississippi State keeps working the transfer portal to rebuild the 2023 roster. Four transfers are in the fold already. At same time the Major League Draft looms mid-July, three weeks after the portal closes. Some key State signees are trending towards college careers, a couple seem certain to turn professional. Back on campus Top Dawg camp is underway as Mike Leach and staff get in-person and on-Scott Field looks at preferred prospects. Leach will be out on the Road Dawg Tour three days next week and a month later joins Alabama for a July 19 SEC Media Day session we will cover in-person.
