Hello everyone, I'm Mel from the YouTube channel "Mel's Blind Life". I am in my late 20s and have rod-cone dystrophy. I live in south eastern Australia, in the state of Victoria currently with my Guide Dog Penelope, my two cats Sam and Zannon and my horse Maggie. Though I'm totally blind, I live life to the full, playing blind table tennis, traveling my beautiful country and studying to become a teacher. My YouTube channel is there to help people who have lost their vision realize that their life does not end with vision loss and for sighted people to understand what blind people can do to enjoy our lives as happy independant people.
