For The Bible Tells Me So...Or Does It? Part 1: The "Clobber Passages"
Season 3
Episode 27
Published 4 years, 4 months ago
Description
The issue of homosexual - and by extension, queer - inclusion within the church often descends into argument, usually with the Bible cited as the source for exclusion. What does the Bible say about these specific matters, and how should they be understood? In this first of a two-part episode, join Apostle Lee Ann Marino as she discusses the traditional "clobber passages" of Genesis 19:1-38, Leviticus 18:22, Leviticus 20:13, Romans 1:25-27, Jude 6-7, 1 Corinthians 6:9-11, and 1 Timothy 1:9-10 in light of the entirety of Scripture in honor of Pride Month.
