Tips for Summer Vacation at Walt Disney World (Hint, it's not the heat you have to worry about)
More people seem to be planning summer vacations to Walt Disney World this year, including many who have never before visited during the summer months. Here's what you need to know and what to watch for:
It's not so much the heat (which can be intense), but it's the rain. You would do well to make plans and reservations accordingly. Be careful about how much outdoor activity you plan between the hours of approximately 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
It's also hurricane season at this time of year and they're predicting a higher-than-average number of named storms this year. So it's more important than ever to keep that in mind.

How to Share Your Pride at Walt Disney World in June 2022
Disney Parks are celebrating PRIDE Month in June as part of their commitment to recognize and celebrate the contributions, cultures and experiences of the LGBTQIA+ community.
This year all four Walt Disney World theme parks have Pride-themed backdrops for your social feeds. Each park photo wall is unique, themed to its surroundings and honors the diversity and pride within the LGBTQIA+ community.
Disney PhotoPass has props like a rainbow umbrella, Magic Shots and colorful photo opps throughout Walt Disney World, plus new virtual backdrops at the PhotoPass Studio at Disney Springs.
At Disney Springs, you will find new décor and photo opportunities in celebration of Pride Month.
