In this bonus episode, hosts Bill Thomas and Kristin Dilley discuss the "Grim Sleeper" serial killer case in Los Angeles. This long-running series was eventually solved using familial DNA. Killer Lonnie Franklin, Jr. was arrested in 2010, convicted in 2016, and died of natural causes on San Quentin State Prison's death row in 2020. Author Christine Pelisek covers the case in her book "Grim Sleeper: The Lost Women of South Central." This is Part 1 of a 3 part discussion.
