Justin's parents took him to see artists like Eric Clapton and U2 starting at the age of 10. As a teenager he started booking touring acts to come play St Louis. Not Waving But Drowning spent so much time on the road that they didn't get to write the record that would've been released by Solid State. None the less, the band has new material in the works, as well as a side project, and a solo effort from Justin!
