62. I did something crazy and rare. How I had my maternal assisted C-section- I pulled my baby out of my belly

Published 4 years ago
Description

Have you ever heard of maternal assisted c-section? They are super rare. Most OBGYNs  never even heard of them.

During a c-section (non emergency) the baby is pulled out half way, and then mama reaches down with her hands and pulls the baby out the rest of the way and places the baby on her chest!

The past July, 2021, I got to have that experience when I birthed my baby girl.

The hospital has never performed such delivery and it was very much out of their comfort zone. I am so thankful that my doctor was willing to go out of the box and allow me this experience.

Want to know exactly what happened? The episode describes my birth story in detail.

If you think this is a cool story- share with a mama who will benefit from it.
