Girardi represented 650 citizens of Hinkley, California, who developed high rates of cancer and other diseases from exposure to water contaminated with chromium VI and discharged by a Pacific Gas & Electric facility over a 15-year period. Following arbitration, Girardi secured a $333 million settlement for Hinkley residents.
