Description

I was listening to a podcast yesterday by Lewis Holmes and he had Brian surgeon on hilum Dan Clark and welcome. And Brian was talking about the difference between thoughts and emotions. And he said that thoughts, but that are controlled don't actually change us. It's only when we learn how to manage the emotions that we have. He was talking about choosing the emotion that you want to have and noticing when an emotion that doesn't have any validity shows up just to throw it away to toss it out. I've loved that thinking. I mean, that really reinforces on a scientific way, how our emotions are so powerful. He said, If anyone wants to truly change their life, they need to pay attention to the emotional experiences that they're having. Because everything comes from emotions first, and then thoughts and then behaviors. That was so fascinating. So here we go. Remember, we are practicing learning how to manage the emotions on the inside of them, not pushing them away, but letting them show up and deciding whether we should keep them or not. Hi, love you. I'm Dan Clark.
