Description
Welcome to Season 3 of Dragonfly Tales, a story podcast for children (and grown ups) of all ages.
This episode, we celebrate Leo's end of his first EVER exams. And he has chosen to tell a brilliant Anansi story. Our listeners know Anansi well, as a naughty trickster from the ancient tales of West Africa. The tales travelled across the ocean to the Caribbean and on then throughout the whole world.
If you want to know more about Anansi and the Ashanti people, you can do so HERE.
Emily's story is a tale that was collected by the famous Brothers Grimm, from Germany. The brothers travelled about, listening to stories that they heard people telling. They collected them and put them in books. You can find out more about the Brothers Grimm HERE.
If you would like to tell a tale on the podcast, have a practise at telling a 5minute folktale. Then you can record it for us (an iPhone works great if you place it on a flat surface and keep one hands width away from the microphone). You can send it to us by emailing it to emilydragonflytales@gmail.com and we will have a listen.
Remember to join us over on Patreon. You also get early access, AD FREE episodes, bonus content, videos and birthday shout outs!! So hop on over and help to support us.
