As the Founder of The Capital Boutique, she connects female founders in STEMM and female funders, including accelerators, angel investors, and venture investors, to increase access to capital. Shannyn is an Innovator in Residence at the MIT Innovation Initiative. Her research explores how lack of gender diversity of Limited Partners' investment leadership reinforces lack of gender diversity of General Partners of venture funds. In 2021, Shannyn was honored as one of the Boston Business Journal's Power 50: The Movement Makers.
