The 2022 National Elections became a battle between two parties: the Gobyernong Tapat of Vice President Leni Robredo and UniTeam of former Senator Ferdinand "BBM" Marcos, Jr. According to political science Associate Professor Jean Encinas-Franco of UP, the Marcos camp has been preparing for this moment since the 2000’s. As the votes are being taken into account, we spoke to Prof. Encinas-Franco and discussed the strategies of each candidate and assessed the old and new methods used for the campaign.
