This is the last message in our 1 John series. John closes out his epistle with the big thought that the most important pursuit for the follower of Jesus is to love God and obey His commands. This equips the follower to love others most effectively. On this Mother's Day, the best gift a mom or dad can give to their spouse or kids is to love God and follow His ways. Doing this will equip them to love their family as they should.
