I was reflecting that what really constitutes wealth and a comfortable lifestyle is not just a question for our current times. Greek philosophers pondered this same question 2000 years ago. Around 300 BC Plato said "The greatest wealth is to live content with little" while 400 years later, Stoic philosopher, Epictetus, echoed this thought "Wealth consists not In having great possessions but in having few wants."
