Are You in the Gap or the Gain?

Season 5 Episode 396 Published 3 years, 11 months ago
Description
In this episode, I want to share a message downloaded (actually multiple messages that downloaded from listening to my most current audiobook, "The Gap and the Gain" by Dan Sullivan and Dr. Benjamin Hardy.  This book has had some incredible points that hit home for my own business and I knew I wanted to share it with you here.

In this episode, we discuss:

1)  This is how they explained it in their words, "many highly ambitious people, are unhappy because of how they measure their progress. We all have an "ideal," a moving target that is always out of reach. When we measure ourselves against that ideal, we're in "the GAP." However, when we measure ourselves against our previous selves, we're in "the GAIN."

2) This pertains to all areas of our lives, financial, personal, relationships, business, goals, health, etc.  and no one sits in one area and never the other, it is a flow state of movement and recognizing where we are in the equation.  We always have a choice, and awareness is where it starts.

3)  This becomes a measurement of your current self vs your former self and it has implications that can affect and impact your emotional, physiological and psychological state.
