Mr. Ramesh Kharel is the Former DIG of Nepal Police who is widely known for his integrity and fight against corruption. After pre-maturely resigning from his post in April 2018, Kharel launched an anti-corruption campaign, Our Nepal Good Governance Campaign and in December of 2021, Kharel formed the Nepal Good Governance Party (Nepal Sushashan Party). During his stint as the Senior Superintendent of Police, he cracked down on crime in the city, including controlling the gangs and dons of Kathmandu.
