TIP #84 – Lab Communication for Optimal Results with Dr James Tran

Published 3 years, 10 months ago
Description

Welcome to What I Wish I Knew by Dental Head Start. This is a podcast where we learn from people that have been there, made the mistakes, learnt the lessons and have developed into the accomplished dental professionals they are today.

It’s your weekly mentoring session.

Hosted by Dr Graeme Pearson

When we prep a tooth for a crown, we send a lab script away and magically, we get a new tooth back. This step may be overlooked by many, and it’s so important that we meet patients’ expectations and obtain the best results for them.

This week, Dr James chats with us about how to communicate with the lab and how this fits in with digital scanning and general workflow. Learn what tips and tricks help get the best results and how these useful tips can help you in your daily practice, too.

James graduated and first worked in cairns, rural Queensland before moving back to Sydney. He currently works at Bonnells Bay Dental in Central Coast and LV Dental in Sydney.
