Ben Brazeau is an expert in technology integration. He is a former high school social studies teacher and instructional technology coach; a current Instructional Technology Coordinator and passionate advocate for education. As a classroom teacher, he infused technology to create engaging lessons for students in his own classroom and now supports teachers to integrate technology with their students. Beyond supporting educators in his own district, Ben has developed and supported educators through his work as a moderator of Twitter chats, especially, #sstlap focused on using Teach Like a Pirate ideas in the social studies classroom, that encourage educator collaboration and professional growth.As an Instructional Technology Coordinator, he supports teachers in their use of technology with a focus on using tools to provide students a voice. He is passionate about student voice and choice and has collaborated on numerous audio video projects that have helped students demonstrate mastery in new and unique ways. When not working as an educator, you can find him supporting his kids at soccer games, band concerts and trying to get them to understand the finer points of Star Wars.
