Announced in 2007, actor Chris Pine was cast to play a different version of James T. Kirk for the then-upcoming first Kelvin Timeline film. He has played that role since then in two more films (with potentially a fourth for 2023) and a video game. In this episode of Twin Cities Trekkies, hosts Wes Huntington and MacKenzie Flickinger analyze the Kelvin Timeline Kirk, and make some comparisons to the Prime Timeline version, played by William Shatner.
