Season 1 Episode 42
Joining Nathan, Mitch and B.R this week is Jack, CEO of Guerrilla Tactical, a holster and gear manufacturer and medical distributor. The lads get into Jack’s shared roots with Mitch, both having grown up in rural up-state New York, being raised on a homestead and homeschooled by his parents, the personality and culture behind Guerrilla Tactical and how Jack’s experiences in the 90’s hardcore punk scene helped naturally shape the look and message of his brand, what being ‘Straight Edge’ means to Jack and some background on the subculture within a subculture, B.R asks about the choice to stand for something as a brand over just being a people pleasing holster company, pushing beyond the typical Conservative gun owner audience to be accessible to everyone, the story behind Guerrilla Tactical’s ‘Hoist the Black Flag’ patch, Jack’s pre-Guerrilla Tactical adventures where he joined a DIY crew of civilians volunteering to counter illegal Japanese Whalers down in Antarctica, how they pursued them all the way to Africa, sabotaging them at every turn and how that turned into working professionally to train and work alongside African Navy’s to counter illegal fishing operations off the African Coast, how he hopes his company and the industry will grow, his recent trip to Poland to do humanitarian work for Ukrainian refugee’s and much much more!
So much more that we will have to have Jack back for a part two in the near future!
