Episode Details

In 1987, Joyce Aparo was a successful woman in her mid-40s. She was mother to a 16 year old daughter-a talented violinist named Karin. When Joyce fails to show up for work and her car is discovered in a creek 90 miles away from her home-law enforcement are concerned. Then Joyce's body is discovered only a mile and a half from the vehicle. She has been murdered. Investigators end up uncovering a sordid tale of abuse, manipulation and a victim that was not beloved by anyone.
