Now back in episode 117 of the podcast, in January of last year, we met mergers and acquisitions specialist Rob Goddard - and talked about what it takes to sell a business quickly and effectively. 

 

Since then, Rob has been applying his skills and knowledge of selling businesses to acquiring them - and has just completed his first acquisition - a large accountancy practice with 45 staff and a turnover of £2m. This week Rob and I talk about how he pulled the deal off.
